On Monday I cast one for SouleMama’s “My Favorite Hat” pattern and finished it Tuesday.
You’d think I didn’t have anything else to do, right? Heheheh. Besides the multiple projects on the needles right now, I have plenty in the queue for gifts, I have sewing projects to finish, start, and design, I have work to do for that job that is going to give me a mini paycheck this fall, a house that needs a bit of cleaning, laundry, and who knows what else. But I decided to knit this. At least it’s done!

In other news, I put L3 on the bus a little while ago to begin his adventures in second grade.
He was full of anxieties last night and this morning, but once he got outside and was swinging away, they dissipated and he seemed cheerful as he climbed on the bus. Unfortunately, I won’t be here to get him off the bus this afternoon. Instead I’ll be meeting my freshman and starting another semester. I’ll look forward to getting home from work and hearing all about his day.
It absolutely shocks me everytime I see pics how much Laurelle looks like Lucas, and how much Logan looks like you. Seriously. It’s amazing. Both my kids are little Nusz’s.
Laurelle’s hair is so long and pretty, and Logan looks so mature and handsome. I hope this first day went well.
I’ll admit Laurelle looks very cute in those pictures and you know if I say that it must be so given how often I do it.
