That would be “finished objects.” Here are some of my latest FOs, plus some pictures of some from the past that just recently were photographed.
First up, the most recent (and descending order from there):
Pattern: Not So Baby Yoda
Yarn: Mission Falls 1824 Cotton, Color 303
Needles: US 7s
Modifications: see project page on Ravelry or drop me a line
Made for: William, known as Billy, with a set of parents that will appreciate the Star Wars bit. Happy Birthday, Billy!
The second picture is of a pair of slippers I made for myself several weeks ago. They were too big when they were done so they just sat around until this past weekend when I felted them. Now they fit, though I think I might make a little strap to hold them to my feet. All of the glorious details can be found on the my Ravelry project page for them.
L3’s Big Seven Birthday sweater. Since the boy’s day of birth is in July he doesn’t generally get much wear out of his gift until autumn or winter. He did wear it in August on our big camping trip, but the shot of him wearing it is in action and somewhat blurred. I was making this at the same time I made Declan’s sweater. Same yarn, different pattern. I love the way it looks on L3, and he loves the way it wears, so happiness all around.
Finally, a sweater I made for L1 in winter 04-05, while I was large with L4 in my belly. I never took picture of it until last week. The pattern is Drizzle, by Kim Hargreaves for Rowan Plaid, I think. To make a sweater for my 6’4″ L1 there are many, many stitches. I was thankful it fit and am still pleased when I see him wear it.
And there you have it–a wrap-up of some FOs. I am currently working on several projects, as usual, including birthday socks, L4’s little Unmentionables, another L1 sweater, yarn and fabric for L4’s birthday knit, and yarn waiting to make myself Wisteria and other projects. Drat my carpal tunnel for slowing my knitting fingers down!
What projects (doesn’t have to be knitting-related!) have you finished recently? Do you love them?
